Once again, what I hate the most about China is that you cannot go to a lot of websites without VPN, especially blogspot, facebook, youtoube...etc. Sometime I wonder maybe it was a wrong decision to come to Shanghai to pursue fashion. Yes, Shanghai is an international city where has a lot of international companies settle here. However, most of the design still based in Europe and America, they only need the marketing, production, merchandising...any other position besides design here. So sadly only the local companies are hiring designers. But still...there are some high potential in those new start up companies in Shanghai, just the paid will be not as satisfying as expected.
Ok,enough complaining.
Yesterday was the 2014Spring collection for my companies' online store. Since I just joined the company less than a year,as a creative director of the e-commerce department. I have to style the clothes before the photoshoot and it was such a long process, since they do not have much accessories and other items to style with so I have to go shop around and get the right items that I want to go with it. At least I think I did make their ugly designed clothes look a bit trendy and appealing.
Embrace yourself with Japanese style....(totally not my style but hey...you gotta do what boss want)
